Tops FFW Mock Elections
Federation of Free Workers (FFW) National President Ramon J. Jabar
today announced the topping of Senator Rodolfo G Biazon of the
mock polls conducted at the FFW Senatoriables Forum participated
in by 53 Union Presidents of private multinational companies last
April 28 at the Kimberly Hotel in Pedro Gil, Manila.
Among those who participated in the voting were the FFW Union
Presidents of Globe Telecoms, Bayer Philippines, Interphil Laboratories,
Continental Temic Automotive, California manufacturing, Columbia
Wire and Cable, Goya Product, Temic Semiconductors, Centennial
Plastic and Vitarich.
Biazon was chosen for his stewarding legislative measures in the
Senate supporting the plight of the laborers, cooperatives, including
population and gender responsive legislation.
Biazon is the principal author of Senate Bill No. 819 otherwise
known as the "Equal Opportunity Act" which intends to
eliminate all forms of discrimination against women, members of
certain religious or ethnic groups. the elderly, homosexuals and
disabled in order for them to realize their full potentials.
